Anna
Cheetham attended the meeting which set up CND in
Central Hall, Westminster, then marched off from
Trafalgar Square for Aldermaston in 1958 - but only
did parts of the three of the four days.
Anna
kept the anti-nuclear voice within Labour Party
branches and general committees until resigning
in January 2002.
Since
1980 Anna has worked with Leicester CND.
As
an artist she has produced work for peace related
exhibitions.
Member
of the Leicester City Council Peace Action Group.
Leicester
CND is a member of the Global Network Against Weapons
and Nuclear Power in Space.
